We have put together here links of several different types.  Some are places we suggest that History Tours customers go to find out more about a subject.  Some are interesting "motivational" sites.  Some are travel planning possibilities that might be more suitable for your trip than History Tours.  And some are links to web pages which might be helpful to those are generally interested in traveling abroad, whether they are "history touring" or not.

Holts Battlefield Tours.  For a great British company that does group battlefield tours all over the world, go to this site.   Holts really focuses on battle tactics and battles themselves and do a fine job of it.

Hunt Tooley's Austin College web pages

Rick Steve's Europe Through the Back Door.  Don't miss this site.

The Tea Room Cookbook by Karen Tooley

Travelocity.com.  A great site for finding airline tickets and much more.

Tom Parsons' BestFares.com.  Find bargains and lots of great information here, even more if you join BestFares.

Village Catalan.  This site is in part devoted to the idyllic Village Catalan, a village of rentable vacation homes in the south of France at Vernet-les-Bains, a place Kipling called the "Paradise of the Pyrenees." But there is also much information on other travel and learning opportunities offered by one of Europe's most experienced educational and adventure travel professionals,  Erik Gundersen.  There is much to browse through at the site.

xe.com  The Universal Currency Converter.  Plan carefully: the changes in the value of the dollar against the euro and the pound stirling can really make a difference.  Consult this currency conversion site early and often.
